Pharmacy Technician National Certification Course
8-week Course
Pharmacy technicians assist licensed pharmacists in serving patients, maintaining medication and inventory control systems, and participating in the administration and management of the pharmacy practice. This course prepares you to take the National Pharmacy Technician Certification exam. Technicians who pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam are granted the title of Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
We do not conduct the exam. However, the course will provide information that students need for successful completion of the exam. Upon passing the exam, the certification enables pharmacy technicians to work more effectively with pharmacists to offer greater patient care and service. Technicians may also use the designation of CPhT. For more information on the certification exam visit: www.ptcb.org or www.nationaltechexam.org.
